Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali Co (AMA Group) recently hosted a medical camp for its employees as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. The event took place at the AMA Structural and Mechanical Division complex in Ras Zuwayed on a Friday morning. The camp was inaugurated by several esteemed guests, including H.E. Mr. Piyush Srivastava, Indian Ambassador to The Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Esam Mohamed, LMRA Deputy CEO, and Mr. Ravi Shanker Shukla, Second Secretary (Cons), Indian Embassy Bahrain. João Lopes, CEO of AMA Group; Stefan Mathis, CFO of AMA Group; Adeel Hameed, Head of HR of AMA Group; and Haresh Patel, General Manager of AMA Structural and Mechanical Division, received the guests.
The Telegu Kala Samithi Bahrain in partnership with American Mission Hospital, KIMSHEALTH Medical Center, SHIFA Al Zajeer Medical centre, and other medical institutions organized the event on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations. The aim of the camp was to identify and address the health and wellness requirements of employees while raising awareness about their physical and mental health. Over 20 doctors and medical volunteers offered check-ups, medications, and advice to the employees.
Specialists in general medicine, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, pulmonology, and gastroenterology screened the workers at the camp. Individuals diagnosed with specific health conditions were recommended appropriate treatment paths.
H.E. Mr. Piyush Srivastava, Indian Ambassador to The Kingdom of Bahrain, praised the initiative, stating that "although employees are getting regular health checks, these initiatives give access to specialized doctors who can provide good advice and consultations, and we, as the consulate, are happy to be part of the initiative. We thank AMA Group and Telegu Kala Samithi for hosting and encouraging such activities."
